January 20, 2018: Stanger joined over 200,000 Coloradans, and millions of women and men in solidarity marches around the world, for the 2nd annual Women's March in downtown Denver.

November 2, 2017: The Food & Water Watch Action Fund approached Erik Stanger in mid-October to request that he sign the OFF Fossil Fuels Act should he be elected to the US House of Representatives. Today, Stanger was added to the list of candidates who proudly declared “I support the Off Fossil Fuels for a Better Future Act (HR 3671) and pledge, if elected, that I will co-sponsor the reintroduced version of this legislation in the 116th Congress.
